You will need:
Fabric
Pins
Dry beans like Navy Beans
Thread
Sewing needle

Instructions:

Cut your fabric into two 6 inch by 6 inch squares and pin the squares together with the pattern sides facing each other.

Sewing about 1/2 inch in from the edge, sew the fabric together all the way around except for a small opening about an inch wide.

After removing the pins, turn the fabric inside out at the opening you left.

Put your beans in the bag and sew the opening shut.

Optional:  Instead of sewing a square bean bag you could sew the material into a heart shape for Valentine's Day, a Christmas Tree for Christmas or a pumpkin for Halloween.
