Last year the Salvation Army website had needy SENIORS' profiles that could be chosen to send a gift to, as well as children.

I am always on the look out for great deals on things they can use, like lotion etc. ANY help much appreciated!

It does seem like more fun to buy a gift for a child, but, I know for a fact, that kids often receive multiple gifts from family, friends, church communities, etc. even if they are in a poor family or single-parent household.

Seniors often NEED everyday items that we all take for granted. HBA, soap, washcloths, socks, warm clothing (gently used), throws/wraps, yarn to knit with, writing paper, pens, STAMPS, greeting cards, Crossword and Word Find books, Dollar Store eyeglasses and so much more!

I know most traders are thinking of "Back to School" right now, but it is never too early to watch out for amazing deals to donate at Christmas. That recent "FREE" cpn made me think and plan ahead!!

TIA
