Connie didn't set it up to be an "Angel" auction; we kind of decided to turn it into one.

In her initial post, she DID say that postage would be paid by the winner. That's just for her part, though. Those contributing as "Angels" will also be on the hook for shipping their part.

That's how I'm interpreting it, anyway.

But IF the Angels each wanted to contribute part of the postage for Connie's part, I'd be cool with that. Just let me know.

Have you ever won one of these auctions? It says you joined in Dec. of 2017, 9 months ago. I have been doing boxes on this board for over 15 years and I would not consider anything that I have ever sent to anyone to be considered junk. My items are all new(within a couple of months) in date and the packages are never damaged and if for some reason it is I state that. I have had many of the same people win my auctions. When I say what the retail value is I mean what the items sell for in my area and if you bought them out right. If someone puts in a book of stamps whatever they cost is the value, if someone puts in paypal then that is the value. How do you put a price on hand made item? That person took their time to make it with pride and love, there is no price for that. It is posted what is being added if it is something that you can not use, give away or donate then don't bid. Over the years I have bid and won alot of the angel auctions and I have never received anything that I thought was junk. Sometimes I just got my monies worth and sometimes I made out more. The reason for them is to help someone who is in need at the time. This auction was just a regular one for me then people where kind enough to add to it and I so much appreciate it. If you don't want to bid that is fine, if you don't want to help and add anything that is fine also but to comment negative things was very rude to me. But then again everyone on this board knows me and the ladies that have added and they know what we will be sending the winner is exactly what we posted.

This was one of the best mail weeks I've had in ages :) My daughter LOVES the hat Joy <3 It is super cute on her and beautifully made. So I had to use the money from this auction to buy a new one but at least I could do so thanks to everyone who helped with this.
