I ended up with 10 free coupons for Mike & Ike candies (contest?) so I went to CVS yesterday and bought 3. The candy was $1.79 each or 3 for $3. The cashier was new and her boss was awful. We had that standard argument over "limit 1 per purchase" and the difference between a purchase and a transaction. I said to the boss "I purchased 3 candy in 1 transaction" but he insisted it was 3 purchases. So the idiot boss said I could ring all the candy separately and I said I really didn't care as long as I got them free....but then he couldn't figure out how to do it after trying about 5 times and the line behind me is longer and longer and longer. My favorite cashier is on her way home after shift and I am begging her to stay and take care of me!!! so we finally did it the regular way and I walked out. I am in CVS a lot and both these "new" cashiers are new to me - hope they don't hang around too long
So I got 3 free Mike & Ike and I got my free Gold Emblem candy (this week's app offer) and some weird unknown toilet paper that was only 99¢ for a 4-roll

they changed their format again and now give you ash
with certain purchases ( I like the old way better)
so now I don't even bother to look at their sale
as all I got there for is my meds.
there are a lot of new people since this covid thing
and the stores are so desperate for help they are not
taking the time to train hem so the customer suffers again
