On the news last night there was a warning that if owe money on a bill, or to a bill collector that bill collector and other companies you may owe money to are claiming the money as soon as it hits your bank account.
I have gotten emails and phone calls from companies and bill collectors that have never sent me a letter or notice that I owe money although I know that I owe money to them 6 or 7 years ago. But i just have not had the money to pay these people. I found out that some of these collectors are adding 1000.00 in interest and fees so that means they can take all your check.
The gov. is trying to pass a bill to stop them from taking Stimulus Check but it may be to late for many. Not sure if we will be able to get our money back if these crooks take are checks from our checking accounts.

You may want to touch base with your bank and make sure but this is a common scam - our police announced it on their FB page way back in January
