Do NOT throw out a debit card if you get it in the mail thinking it's just a advertisement. It's actually a debit card WITH money on it. Lots of people are receiving these and thinking they are junk mail, they are throwing them out. It takes a long time and sitting on phone for hours trying to get it replaced. The government is really screwing up this time, sending these debit cards instead of checks. 1|1|The envelope in huge letters tells what's inside. Gives government info and everything. Worse ... my husband pitches stuff since he had his stroke 12 yrs. ago. I try and go through everything, but who knows ... sigh.
