I got this email a couple days ago, except I don't remember doing this or for which promotion it would be.

I rec'd it too and was suspicious, but it's legit.
I was able to confirm it by looking under my rewards history.
Just copy the code and download it into your Amazon account
so you don't even need to click on anything in the email.
I was bothered by the fact that it didn't mention me by name at all.
I have no idea why I got the code, but I wanted to get
it entered into my account before they changed their mind!

I received mine on December 16th and 17th and got the $2 Amazon gift card on both accounts.
