Just wondering if I am the only one whom has noticed that at the printable coupon site the total amount available has gone down from like $350.00 to $98.00 or 27pages to 5 pages. Is there a reason for this or am I seeing things? I don't print as many coupons as I use to because I am trying to save my ink, could that be the reason the coupon avaiblabe amount went down?
Also the is a $3.00 increase in our local Sunday paper in this area, has anyone else Sunday paper gone up?
Just a couple questions that I am wondering about that I have noticed and wondering if anyone else has seen or is effected too?
Thanks for reading and Have a Wonderful New Year

reported that there ARE fewer printable coupons being redeemed as people move to digital. Even coupons.com has an app.

And a couple companies just partnered with Kroger, so loading to one will load across the board. Which means limits will also apply.

Newspapers have gone up to $3 here, too.

I live down in the FL Keys and the Miami Herald decided it was too much work to deliver down here so they just stopped!!!

There are 2 stores (Publix and a gas station) that go out of their way to drive to Miami, pick up a load of papers, and then sell them so their customers are happy

Oh, and Catalina says the bankrupcy will change nothing......it is just financial wrangling

Joanie 8|5|We have a weekly shopper that has coupon inserts and it's free. I haven't bought a Sunday paper in years. I think the Chicago Tribune is $5 to buy it in Wisconsin|Hulls|totoscharmedlife@gmail.com|11:53:01|01/01/2019|

Especially, it seems Dollar General are pushy with their inserts right inside the coupon flyers like they're saying " oh here ..dont forget to see our ad" hmm..actually it's the first thing I do..Throw it away! They are annoying !

So are their remarks " do you have a digital account"
Heck no..i say. I don't have any digital anything for savings.

The more people sign up for digital savings and offers the less one will see coupons in the Sunday papers..
Then you leave their parking lot and your friends phone is like" how was your shopping experience at Dollar general?

Lol..to funny..im like see why
I don't like digital savings.

They're all getting into everything you like and why or when you're gonna buy it.

Everybody in the world has all my information so I don't worry about that...........be on one coupon board, one refund site, have one credit card or apply for one rebate online and absolutely everybody has your information

digital coupons are awesome, expecially because some places have different ones whether you use the app or the computer. I use CVS, Publix and Winn Dixie. The red box machine in our CVS never works (because the manager stinks) so I pre-print all their offers before I leave the house. You cannot get all the coupons for their Gold Emblem products without using digital coupons or an app

Digital coupons are ok. But with that being said
The objective is to totally do away with Sunday inserts
This is what I was getting at

The strategical idea is to pretty much deliver coupons
Another way for a lot of reasons.

Businesses come and go . They get pushed out by innovative ideas. For instance Toys r us closed because amazon and other internet toy companies push them to close

The post office has shorter hours because there are other ways to get stamps etc online

New technology is pushing out the little guy
The newspaper companies have raised their prices
The news are online. The coupons aren’t as good.
A lot don’t buy the papers

And yes, bottom line I feel the more everyone signs up for digital coupons the less one will see in Sunday coupons

Far as privacy. I am
Not hiding from anyone but with that being said
I do not want technology invading my privacy either
Like leaving the store and your phone says “
Oh you didn’t buy your Kotex today and they’re on sale ‘

Hmm .. that’s what I am getting at. It’s annoying.
The worst annoying is Dollar General again pushing their sales ad inside the coupon inserts.
Don’t see any other store doing that. 13|10|Connie - I agree with everything you said........|Joaniebott|joaniebott@AOL.com|10:30:17|01/08/2019|

but the world has already moved on. I live in the FL Keys where there is no longer a Sunday paper delivery......so if I want coupons, I buy them. We even invested in one of those echo tank printers since I print so much. I love that I just left Publix and then I got a message to not forget to do my Ibotta. I pay every single bill I can online so I get the points (we never rotate a credit card).....

Now if only I needed anything......LOL!!! We are down to 2 people, we do not eat prepared food, I haven't bought HBA in years and years and years that wasn't free.....I never get dressed up.....I have clean sneakers and boat sneakers and garden sneakers.......and I LOVE being retired

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Food Lion here in NC no longer accepts printable coupons.
Walmart won't accept them either if they don't scan.
Harris Teeter won't accept them either if they don't scan.
I guess, gone are the days of manual input/override!
