Those conventions were soooo much fun!!
Now I was couponing and refunding way before that, as my mom always used coupons. Back then they were 3 or 5 cent ones. Promo offers were inside your oatmeal or laundry detergent boxes ... LOL.

3|1|Around 1982... but did my first offer in the 70s...|Meezer_Mom|cheznishilia@hotmail.com|10:15:51|11/19/2018|

Some good years and some bad years.I worked for a major insurance and my supervisor taught me then. She would get things thru mail. And have a rummage sale every summere. I took moneytalk and Jaybees was first. Course postage has put some out of business. 9|1|I also started in 1980....|Sharon|cupoftea@hughes.net|18:34:14|11/19/2018|

i went to th ose conventions. they sure were fun. miss that stuff. sitting and talking about all kinds of stuff. trading for complete deals that actually had qualifiers on them and were not booze. that is before alcohol became the force of refunding. wegot cash of little red or green checks in the mail that said pay to the bearer.

Sounds good. We are dedicated people to save. 18|1|1989 A lady in the local snowmobile club introduced me to rebates and coupons. She was loading liquor bottles and empty beer cases into her car. I asked what she was doing with those.|Hulls|totoscharmedlife@gmail.com|13:32:41|11/24/2018|

I was asked if I were interested in joining a small local group
of rebaters for a monthly meeting to trade our goodies.
I was the lone man of the group.
Sadly members of the group have passed away and there are
only two of us left and I am the only one that coupons/refunds.

Anyone else here go on the Moneytalk Refund Cruises back
in the 90's???? Boy were they fun. I went on all 3.
Great memories.

I love feedback, please let me know how
your trading experience went with me,
Thank You
