for people not really sending Christmas cards anymore also the postage
costs as mouch or more than the card. 3|2|I disagree...or at least in part....the "annual Christmas card" was a GOOD way to bring the friends and family you didn't see as often up to date with the family's news as well as a good opportunity to let them know you are thinking of them and sending some love. NOW though...free long distance, internet access, FB, emails....MOST the people you may have "caught up" with in the annual Christmas card you communicate with so much more regularly now that I think THIS more than the price of postage is killing the tradition. postage costs MAY play some small part (particularly to elderly people that have done it for years)...but I think the modern communication made it less necessary. |Chicagoclipper|Barb.erradi@aol.com|16:49:49|11/21/2018|
