The trees are coming down around my street and in my back yard one branch at a time. The ice is bringing the limbs down. Its cold out and we are to get more rain. My tree in my back yard is half on property and half next door. It has several limbs down on both sides and you can see the ice on the limbs. The ice is so heavy that the limbs just come down. I went out to feed the cats outside and I sled sown my ramp on my behind. I am ok, I feed cats and watered them and came in the house and I am staying here until I have to leave tonight.
I took out a installlment loan and i got a new toilet yesterday. The plumber says it will be $1200 to put in hot water heater. The city will not let me back into my house till I get the hot water tank. I have cummunity action and veterans working on it for me. This is the time a year when all organization that yelp people are out of money. So have to wait and see.
I am hoping the ice does not bring the power lines down as it is to get to 36 then freeze here. I just heard another limb from my back tree come down it makings a loud poping noise.

I'm in central KY and we had freezing rain that left the trees, lines, cars, decks with a thin layer of ice on them. However, I think the concrete, ground, pavements were all warm enough for it not to freeze on contact with them.
I so hope you don't lose power and funding will show up for you! You deserve a break!

I have heat my power is on, but my tree is down and fell on neighbors side so going to let him cut it up and clean it up. Still very cold, had snow and more rain last night. Hope the sun comes out and warms things up it is only 30 out right now.
