today was spend in the hospital getting xrays to see if he is going to need a second surgery just in case the first one didn't take
he is mostly good with a great attitude however in a lot of pain
thank you soooooooooooooooooo much everyone for the cards and goodies, I did tell him a things about the cards so when the first batch arrived he was very very surprised
hopeful
ly I am praying that the first surgery took, this is going to take 4 to 6 months to heal it is going to be a long long road to travel I'm afraid

Well the x Ray's have been read n he is going to be having a 2nd surgery. This Time's going through the back of the neck placing a metal plate in the back of his neck and fixing a screw that has backed out of place in the front.the last time he had surgery was through the front of his neck this time is the back. His voice box is missed up from the 1st operation and is real rough, that was like 2 weeks ago
However somehow he is still staying positive
As far as smoking is he has gone to Mark Ten. And about 4 cigarettes a day
He is healing well thank God

Suppose to be in a couple weeks for the 2nd surgery now. Hav to go through preop all over again even though it was done 2vweeks ago it has to be updated. Watch them call for emergency surgery like they did before
He's still positive but wants to get it done and over with he will be healing for 4. To 6 months but he'll have a neck made of stainless steel

This has been such a nightmare
We r both glad it is over, now is just 4 to 6 months of recovery and healing
The front of his neck is fussed screwed and bolted together and now so is the back of his neck is fussed screwed and bolted together with plates both front and back
Hes gonna make the metal detectors go off at the store or airport lol
