I bid on an auction on here that ended March 22nd at 5 p.m. The owner of the auction cancelled it that night at 9 p.m. By rights, didn't I win this???? If I bid on something on E-bay, and the time is up, it is mine! The seller can't come along and cancel it! How do I resolve this? 1|1|Yes. I really think she should have posted if no more bids would cancel. But I see a lot of people cancel if low or no bid. Hope you can work something out. 6|1|The auction should be honored. Well, it's obvious I'm not going to get this resolved! Seems as if some people have to play by the rules, and others get banned. I see a big decline on this site lately. No auctions and very few bargains. It used to be a great site, but has gone completely down hill. It's really a shame! I used to enjoy it, but not any more. Pat

I thought we were all enjoying the forums more without all the clutter. I know there are still some members on here that don't like me and that makes me very sad. But I think we are all a great group of people who come together here to share, to sell, to buy, to trade, to swap or maybe just to "be" here among friends. I hope Pat doesn't leave. I am sure if someone misses someone they considered a friend....the friend would be MORE than willing to send you boxes etc..... why would not being here to cuss me and others all the time stop that? I also don't like the mention that some people got banned and others ( like this situation) walked away with nothing. Lots of auctions say "reserve the right to cancel". If she didn't do that, then I would give the leeway of allowing cancellation because she must have had a reason. If people get banned it is because they cheated people out of money. The only thing the OP did for the auction was invest 5 seconds to list a bid....so she is out nothing...not been cheated or hurt in any way.

Sharron has always been a great trader and she's been on radio silent since cancelling. She has had some family emergencies in the past.
Berating her AND RS when the bidder is out absolutely nothing, simply reflects on the bidder.
