I remember horribly cruel things that were done when I was in elementary school.   Parents know and teachers know  and everyone  acts helpless.  I've always wondered why teachers don't use  it as a discussion topic...   They could point out why kids bully.. it really reflects on the bully in a shameful, pitiful way.  I thin k one of the first steps   is awareness and   for kids to know  WHY some kids bully...  bullies often need psychiatric  help or counselling....   It  can be an indication of a dysfunc tional  family and severe mental problems..
