I would like to see everyone post more on our boards, especially for me, I am interested in the bargains board but all of the boards and I encourage everyone to share refundsweepers to their family and friends and share about it on Facebook. I don't know of any other board like Refundsweepers around. There are some boards like the bargains and the auctions, where only a handful of people post. Refunding and couponing have certainly changed since the 90s when I first discovered RS. And life is, well, life. Not everyone has the time to post on the daily.
Things I enjoy are the swaps, contests and frugal tips. Remember when I used to post "Frugal Challenges", like, how many things can be done with a rubber jar opener? Or, now that we've scored all these free shampos, what else can we use them for? Maybe I'll start those again on the Frugal board and see how that goes.

Here I am one to talk since I have hit a bad slump since Easter and can't get motivated to get my coupon lists together! However, I have tried to log into General Chat here, on most weekdays, and at least participate enough to say I am alive out here ... LOL.
It seems so many traders have fallen by the wayside. Maybe after school starts, or if someone can organize it, we should all drop a trader we used to trade with and miss, an email saying please come back, etc.
I notice a trader down below in Chat - Momto1 - just posted saying she was going to return ... and no one has welcomed her back. I think we need to encourage people and make then feel a part of RS.
Not only has blogs,Facebook, etc. hurt us, but the use of cel phones is a big culprit. Where as on a desk top, I can see the whole board, several posts at a time - a cel phone only shows a limited view and you miss so much activity unless you really put some effort into it. I don't have a smart phone and a co-worker was trying to convince me that I need one and we both had our "screens" up. Her on her cel phone and me on the desk top ... I swear we were on two different worlds!! I don't have a solution for that.

There is a lot of behind the scenes and even blatant unkindness and as I get older it just makes me weary. If someone emails gossip or mean stuff to you...shut it down. If someone posts attacking someone for posting and sharing etc...contact the mods and shut it down. Don't trade with mean girls! That has had a lot to do with my lack of posting lately. I do trade on FB now. it is busier and I don't feel there are mean girls around (although I am sure there are, I probably just don't know who they are)
Don't believe everything you hear or half of what is emailed to you @@ lol.
I invited hundreds of people here. I still mention it from time to time on other boards.

Just some that are not team players, are uncooperative and will not follow trading procedure.
I enjoy the people on this board and enjoy trading. I have made some wonderful friends here. Most traders have a heart of gold.

I say this everyone in the world has problems. We already live in such a sad world....we do not need anymore sadness or rudeness or mean spirited people. Again the basic rule should apply be kind be nice be polite show your manners.....pay it forward....we may not always agree on any or all subjects however with that being said there is never a reason to get upset over a silly issue or a mistake...for God sakes there are people whom are dying....whom have cancer....children with cancer. People whom are starving.....women whom are abused...children and animals. So to me when I look up at the big picture to get upset over a silly issue or mistake or a misunderstanding I plain too not understand....My motto in life is.....be happy.....your alive.....count your blessings.....if you have you health then even better...Bring a smile to someone's face.....Smile often......live love and laugh and laugh more.....Live your life today not tomorrow....I know for me I am blessed and grateful for the life I have....my Hubby our beloved angels our children...our grandchildren....my dad....my fur babies....So to me life is good......Again laugh and laugh more laughter is the best medication.....I have found some truly lovely ladies on here whom I consider fantastic and super sweet and kind hearted and for that I am truly grateful.....peace and blessings....Catherine
