My sister retired in June and last month decided to sell her home and belongings and purchased a camper in Florida. Her and my brother-in-law left Kentucky Monday night and arrived in Florida Tuesday morning. Unpacked the car and started making the camper their new home. Wednesday the beach called their name. Thursday morning Gerald got up and headed to McDonald's, less than 2 miles away to get them breakfast and when he hadn't returned in an hour my sister was worried and started calling the police. Her fears were confirmed, he had been in an accident involving a semi. He died Friday night, the day before his 56th birthday, which he shared with one of his daughters. My sister really has no home, no car and lost her companion. She is trying to stay positive and relying on her Faith to see her through. Her and her 2 daughters could really use prayers to see them through these next few days as they lay him to rest Friday. I know it would uplift my sister if she received some condolence cards letting her know others care.
