I just have to get this off my chest. Been meaning to do it for a long time as it is very annoying.
Okay.
Our Sunday coupon inserts first and foremost annoying thing:
They put the dollar general store circular inside the red plum or smart source ! Huggg. First thing I do is pull it out and throw it in the garbage! They are not coupon friendly and the way I see it is they are trying to pretend they are by inserting their weekly ad in with our coupons!
Next gripe: I totally hate cvs for numerous reasons 1) they advertise their sale item and then tell you your coupon is in most Sunday's papers ! What if it isn't? They are all into a couponners business! Besides that their coupon policy doesn't allow one to use a manufacturer coupon in a clearances item!
Frankly, I see this as discrimination against people who use coupons.
Ok example: I went to their store several weeks ago and they had a nice n easy hair color for 2-12 cents. I read my coupon which was for 2.00/1 and read it over and over and it was for that product. Okay I presented it to the cashier my coupon hoping to get the box of hair color for .12 cents and ooops... the coupon beeped. Man said. Can't take this. I said what do you mean? It the coupon for the item! Hmm I was aggravated
I demanded he take the coupon off and with much hesitation he finally took it off. I then called corporate and told them I felt I was being discrimated against because of the simple fact I had the right coupon for the right item and they would not accept it and that therefore I felt I am being discriminated against because they would rather have a cash paying customer then me using my coupon! I told them my coupons are my money! I don't get coupons free! I pay cash for my Sunday paper /s and I will not be abused by them. I told them they better revised their policy because it was no wonder I hadn't shopped at cvs in months. If much rather go find my clearance products at other friendly stores whom don't discriminate against me and take my coupons gladly !
There!! Now I got it off my chest, going coupon shopping where shopping is a pleasure and managers greet you with a smile every time you walk in the door! Where I feel welcome

UNfriendly with coupon users...at least all around here are. CVS is also the Highest around here for prescriptions as well. Being in a very rural area we don't have alot of choice. In my small town there is ONE pharmacy...CVS and one small grocery store (family owned). I can drive around 20 min or a bit more and go to a Walgreens but otherwise I have to drive 45 min one way to any other pharmacy. I REALLY hated that CVS bought out Target pharm. They were super and so friendly and great on pricing for RX's. Now they are CVS in a Target store. Even the employees are NOT happy about the buy out. Ugghh.
