Especially in today's time.........everything goes up except your salary......for example I mostly shop and Stop and Shop and little by little I have noticed everything ..all items have been raised. Now with coupons and the prices being the way they are....1.00 off 3 large boxes of cereal means nothing....My store still doubles up to 99 cents and for the most part they do not put a limit of how many of the same coupon you can use at one time......however once in a while I will encounter a coupon boss....as I like to say. Also I have noticed that paper products.....garbage bags...are so expensive. For them I truly rely on the dollar store where everything is 1.00. So for a small package of say angel soft toilet tissue is 1.00 and with a added 45 cents coupons I can get 4 rolls for 55 cents. Pretty good deal for me.....Back in the day coupons were wonderful.....Also today they wording and expire date are so so tiny you need thick..very thick glasses to read the very tiny print....However none the less I will always use coupons and love them/ Peace. Arrgh.....technology soon there will be no more paper coupons.....I cannot even think of that thought.....While I agree sometimes that technology as helped with many things....in the end...it leaves me thinking and knowing when I was younger and my parents were younger.....life we all thought was harder , however I disagree we just did not know how good we had it. It is rarely worth a trip to the store to use ONE .50/1 coupon on my phone!!! But if the sale is right...I will use 10 .50/1 paper coupons. Save trees with no paper coupons and no paper cash register receipts. It is being promoted to use digital coupons and email receipts instead of receiving paper receipts at checkout.
