Found my recipe for this...

Applesauce Glazed Sausage Appetizer

2 lb polish sausage cut in ½ inch slices
32 oz applesauce plain or chunky, sweetened or unsweetened drained through a strainer to remove as much liquid as possible.
1 cup brown sugar
½ of large red onion diced small
2 clove of garlic crushed (optional)

Mix applesauce and brown sugar together, add the rest of the ingredients and bake uncovered for up to 2 hrs at 350 stir after first hour.

I made a double batch of this for the party to give you an idea of proportion. I used plain sweetened applesauce.

Serve with toothpicks.

Carrot & celery sticks, broccoli, cucumbers, peppers, etc., with ranch or avocado dip, etc. Always a hit at parties. 3|1|Fruit Tray with Vanilla Yogurt for Dip, and ...|Jorainna|jorainna@aol.com|14:23:38|10/12/2016|

Get one or two of those party trays at Dollar Tree over in the wedding supply area. Cut up your own pineapple or use the canned chunks (well drained). Grapes are running pretty cheap - get both red and green. Apples are on sale at this time of year, if you know how to keep them from turning dark. Strawberries if resonable and look good. I have been using the vanilla yogurt for fruit dip all summer and it seems to go over well.

Aldi sells Port Wine and Cheddar cheese balls for $2.49 ... set a couple of those out with crackers. If you don't have Aldi, Walmart is pretty reasonable.)

Pin wheel sandwiches: Get the large flour tortillas. Mix ranch and mayo and spread on a layer. Put on lunch meat of choice, cheese and lettuce. Roll the thing up then slice it up at 1 1/2 intervals. (You may have to use tooth picks, but usually the mayo acts as "glue".) Arrange the pin wheels on a tray - you could line the tray with leafy lettuce or parsley to make it look pretty.

Put out a couple of pretty dishes (Dollar Tree again), filled with Kroger or Walmart canned mixed nuts and party mints. You can do the same with olives and pickles.

These ideas along with the deviled eggs and veggie tray mentioned above, should give you the start to a pretty decent spread! 4|1|crostini with cheese...rice balls, fried mozzarella balls|soccer_mom|jhowarth@wiley.com|15:22:30|10/12/2016|

If you make them ahead, you have control of the kind and amount of meat/cheese are
on each roll.

If you have a way to keep things warm, you will have more options.
Mix a 10 oz. jar of grape jelly to either 1 bottle bbq sauce or a bottle of Heinz Chili sauce. Put that and two packs cocktail wieners or cocktail smokies in a crock pot and let simmer. Yum! Meatballs work this way, too.
