3|3|Several years ago I was stopped by security as he thought I had taken something. He asked me to come into the office. I did, and we chatted and then finally I said I am going to empty my pockets in front of you. When you see there's nothing there, I want a MAJOR apology. His eyes lit up and said ok, but then he pointed to one of my pockets and said IT IS IN THERE. I opened it up.. nothing. I then opened ALL my pockets, etc.. everything... and then TOLD them to search my coat while I watched. NOTHING. Then I dumped my small purse on the desk. IN THERE was about 7 of the same rebate form. He studied them and asked me why I wanted so many of that form. I told him. He said I can't let you have those. I said they didn't even come from this store and they ARE FREE!! He was mad when I said if you are not going to allow me to take MY PROPERTY, I am picking up my cellphone and calling 911 and having you arrested. . 4|1|Another time I was called into security as I "took something." Turns out it was 14 coupons from a pad in the store. He wouldn't let me leave the office until the police got there. I said GREAT. The police asked him that the only way he could arrest me if he put a money value on them. He counted and said $28.00!! The police looked at loss prevention and said you must have had a bad day. The only way they are worth that is if they were NOT free in your store, and plus, they have to be fulfilled, each one of those, to be worth that. I am letting this lady go unless you want to press charges for something else. He said he had to take a report if police were called. He asked me to sign. It was an agreement that I would NEVER step foot on their property again. LOL I said the only way I will sign that if this police officer arrests me and then we can have our attorneys work out something for this harassment and embarrassment. . 5|2|OMG! That location is really out to get you!!!! Tearpad coupons are free and NOT able to be "stolen".....they can be annoyed if you take them all....and even ask you nicely to "leave some for others".....but truly that security left that company open for a lawsuit.
