This might go for all foreign made cars but DEFINATELY goes for a Kia. If you even consider buying one beware. A few years a ago I had bought a used Kia van. I had to change batteries in it and when I did I accidentally dropped a bolt from it down thru the front of the van by the engine. Figured it would fall out on the ground if I moved the van. Nope..tried everything trying to find it and even had other people looking for it as well. Turns out after going to every auto store I could find and finally calling a Kia dealer was told you can NOT buy those bolts anywhere even from a dealer individually. They are special size/type so my only option would be find a junk yard and a junked out Kia to see if I could find a match that way. That was crazy! I finally got rid of the van after major frustration just over this bolt. Can't imagine if anything else went wrong with it. Ugghh. Every time daughter is with and we see any Kia she brings it up and says..."Uh oh..there's a Kia. Don't lose a bolt or you'll be sorry!" lol!
