Someone I know has 2 daughters senior in high school & freshman in high school. Both girls have a boyfriend. About a year ago the parents let the older girl's boyfriend move in with them. She was 16 at the time and he was 20. Now the freshman girl has a boyfriend and this started the end of last school year and over the summer, her boyfriend doesn't live there but comes on Friday night and stays through to Sunday. He is old enough to drive. Or if there are days off school or more this summer. I think this is sending the wrong message to their younger kids, these kids, etc. I have heard that the girls do not have a very good reputation at school (small high school of several hundred). I am also wondering if there would be some legal consequences there. I know the mom was 15 and dad about 16 or 17 when oldest girl was born. I am thinking they would want to prevent this from happening to the girls. Just wondered if I am off in what is accepted in the world today. I would not want my kids to hang out with girls like this (I know the older one maybe to age where she will do what she wants, but the younger one...she was in 8th grade when boyfriend would stay over!)
