I have a non-couponing/non-refunding friend that is having trouble making ends meet. I offered 4 mail in rebates that are complete and 100% from items I purchased. I have already done them but with coupons and great sales I bought more and had a set of extra forms. Figured If I couldn't use them I would offer them to someone I knew could. I thought they would welcome a free extra $60 for just the cost of the stamps ($2) and time to fill out the forms ($0), I even had everything in envelopes for them. OMG, you would have thought I was committing some sort of crime! They told me "no, that's not right". They said they felt "uncomfortable" doing that and said it was okAy if I wanted to be a "bargain queen" but they weren't going to participate in my "activities". This has just left me angry and ill with them!
Why do my non-coupon/non-refunding friends think this way? I think they think I am crazy and think Its a crime!?

When my daughter was engaged to her now EX-husband, they lived in another state in different apartments. I started actually sending in some of my extra rebates to his apartment and I suggested that he save the money from the checks to help pay for their lavish honeymoon to Paris. I guess when he had a stack of the actual checks, he put them in a shredder. Said that he did not want to go to jail. FOR GOODNESS SAKES - they were mostly beer checks - no beer purchase required - just meat, fruits, etc. He did not want anybody to think that he drank so much BEER. GEESH

unusual it was really nice of you to do that. What were these offers.I've been refunding for years and have not done much because there isn't much to do. I remmebr when i found this site years ago the 10.00 pepsi was hot,even the 10.00 kelloggs where are these now.Alot of liquor and its fine if you can get what you need for them.When i look here at refunding its mostly liquor .I did the twice the money back for Dawn but haven't got it.
