after 17 months of him being on workman's comp, which is over and he settled out, he had his surgery last Friday. I am so glad that this is over with. Workman's comp is the most horrible thing in the work to be on. We almost lost our house but thanks to a program call Save The Dream they are going to pay the last 15 months of our back house payments and keep paying them through August of this year plus they are paying off our second mortgage. The doctor says with a little physical therapy Bill should be back to work in about 45 days or so. He lost his job with the company he was with which to me is bull crap since he did nothing wrong when he got hurt. His settlement should be here by the end of March if not sooner so in the mean time we are back to relying on just my income until then. We barely made it through with his wormans comp checks and my income so I was not able to save anything. Before he started getting checks we received food stamps for about 3 months and I reported to them everytime that he got any kind of money but they claimed they overpaid us $866 so I have to pay that back. So until his settlement comes I will be hitting the food pantry every month and buying what I can. These past months have been torture on us. We went the first 3 months on my income and I had to sell thousands of dollars worth of my jewerly for a fraction of what it cost just to keep up with the bills. Last winter we had to sell one of our computers and our snow blower for extra money. With the price of meat we only have it once or twice a week and canned soup has become our best friend. But I thank God everyday for what I have because I know alot of people are in alot worse shape then we our. I also want to thank the kind people on this board who helped us out in the beginning you really don't know how much we appreciated it.

and that you did not lose your house, what a blessing to have that help available. I have never heard of that before. I hope you will be able to focus on the good that has come out of this situation, and that the future continues to get brighter. 2|1|Glad DH got his surgery. Hopefully, this is the first step forward to brighter days. |Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|19:37:58|01/20/2015|
