I have a custodial account for my grand daughter.  She will be starting college soon. Would like to give her some of the money from the account, but not all of it at once. If the check gets written out to me as custodian for my grand daughter how does it get endorsed so she can cash it and I do not pay the tax.  The mutual fund company does have her social security number.
