I have been sick for about 6 weeks
Been to the doc 4 times

I have shortness of breath, cough, chest pain, back pain..

I do have allergy problems. But never been bad. First doc said I have
Asthma. Second doc said broncitus...now both are saying it asthma.

I am now back on staroids, a neb machine, and a new inhaler. But not
Feeling any better. Second time on staroids. On my 4th diff type of inhaler.

Last week my heart was beating faster then normal. Did it for about a hour.
Went to the doc. My pulse rate was still high. This has happened before. So I
Have an appt on Friday with a heart specialist. Doing some testing and putting
me on a 30 days heart monitor. It did it last night too. Seems to do it sometimes
After I eat. (Beat faster then normal)

Anyone have asthma? Anything else I can do to feel better? The inhalers seem
to help a little right after I use them.

I will be 44 in a few weeks. I feel like I am going on 60

Have steroids in them. Can cause your heart to increase and make you jittery. Normally our heart rate increases after we eat. That's why it's not good to overeat at a meal. The meds are most likely increasing this. Doesn't sound like asthma to me. Did they do a chest xray? Could be pneumonia or ?? 2|2|chest xray was ok...never really did blood work |shelly0418|michelle0418@centurytel.net|10:52:25|11/10/2014|

I thought the same thing...pneumonia. I had that last year October. It didn't
show up on the xray did on blood work. Doctor hasn't did blood work this time around.

I can eat a very small amount and my heart fells like its beating twice as fast. Not
always.

I am on 3 steroid pills plus my neb and inhalers

all of that other stuff and it's still not helping, then it's definitely not bronchitis. I have that and those help me. Also staying cool helps my breathing. 3|1|No answers. But prayers and hopes of quick healing. |shellysmsmo|jpksms@sbcglobal.net|11:28:12|11/10/2014|

I have asthma, horrible stuff, it wears you out in no time.
Steroids will make your heart fly, Sounds like you may need
some antibiotics
Drink lots of h2o. It helps thin out the mucus. A good one a day.
and extra c.
Every time I get a bad flare of it it goes into pneumonia.
You may have a good xray and have pneumonia the next week.
I will pray for you. I know how you feel. 6|1|All the asthma meds....|Quietwaters|Quietwaters39@hotmail.com|18:48:12|11/13/2014|

will make your heart race. Best thing you can do for asthma is find out what you are alergic to or what affects your asthma and avoid it.

One time my son had so much meds pumped into him to help him breath, and his heart was racing so fast I was afraid he was going to have a heart attack. They just kept trying to balance the two out.

Lots of people use herbal tea or herbs to help with their asthma along with their medications. You can check with your doctor first.
