Tartar Sauce is easy to make. No need to buy that tasteless, expensive stuff at the supermarket.

Combine: mayo, minced onion, dill relish (like Vlasic or Claussen) and dill spice. Refrigerate.

That is it! It makes a delish tartar sauce.

This recipe was in my first Betty Crocker cookbook that my mom gave me way back in 1962.

Worked in a truck stop in the 60s and we made the tartar sauce also
For shrimp sauce we took horseradish and ketchup and mixed .That's it.Also 1000 island dressing just take mayonnaise or miracle whip and add ketchup and relish, spices if you wanted too. 2|2| Oh yes, good one. We did that, too.|Arizona|vjast48@gmail.com|14:05:53|07/06/2014|
