Hi all, April was National Mobility Month and there was a contest called the Local Hero contest. Three winners will get a vehicle suited specifically to their mobility challenges. Since Rodney's accident last year we've wondered what we would do for a vehicle for him since he will need one with hand controls and one equipped to get a wheelchair in and out easily. If we could win one we would probably pee our pants we'd be so excited ... well, maybe not THAT excited but it would be a great help to us. You have to sign up to vote but only with your name and email address and registering does not put you on their email list so you won't get your inbox filled up with junk mail. You can vote once a day but there's an icon on the right side of the screen that says GET EXTRA VOTE and if you click on that and answer the question correctly your vote will count for two.
