I just got the news a little bit ago that my mom's brother passed away this morning. He had dementia & got a massive stroke 2 wks. ago w/bleeding on the brain. A week ago yesterday he was transferred to the nursing home here in town but he wasn't able to swallow due to the affects of the stroke so couldn't eat. My mom & I were just in to see him the other day & I could tell it wouldn't be long. As sad as it is, it's also a blessing in that he's not suffering anymore. He just had his 80th birthday in December.
Please say a prayer for his family, my mom & their other siblings.
