Wondering if anyone has had this? I had a small painful spot under my left arm pit a month or so ago. Kept a watch on it & within 4 or 5 days it was gone. I have a couple of colds/infections recently and figured it was a swollen lymph node related to that. Now the area is sore again & I believe a small harder ridge is forming. I am due to start my period any day & I believe this happened a little before period last month too. Could this be hormone related? Happened to anyone else? I wasn't really worried about the last time with colds, etc. Now I am not sure what to think about this. Any advise would be helpful. 1|1|Best to See Your Doctor|Tiggy|DealzMartin@aol.com|19:02:06|04/25/2014|

If this bump is changing based on your hormone fluctuations, you really need to see your doctor. Quite possible he/she will order a mammogram and/or biopsy.
This really isn't anything to wait on. 2|1|yes i get these too they suck painful hard knots|gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|12:33:12|05/06/2014|

Mine are gone now. hope they don't come back. I was told they could be from infection or all kinds of things. Cancer lumps don't usually come & go & are usually painless so I am not really worried about that at this point. I was also told they might be from allergies. My niece gets them on her neck from allergies. 4|3|more|gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|16:47:29|05/07/2014|

My Dr brushed them off too said anything could cause them from hormones to infection but since it was right before my period I was guessing hormones hope u find out also I have diabetes type 2 have u had a basic check up?

I am 39 so I really think this is hormonal. My family tends to have early menosause so we believe I may be within a few years of this & this could be the cause. Again I was told that cancer does not come & go & is usually not painful so I believe it is nothing to worry about.
