I got a big piece of cheap deli turkey meat from the food pantry. I sliced some and tried it...ick!
It has no flavor, full of water, the very cheapest deli turkey they sell. I know because I used to work in a deli where they would put this on sale Buy 1 pound Get 1 pound free.

I don't want to waste it, does anyone have any ideas what I can do with it? It's awful on sandwiches, so that leaves out wraps, wiches, etc.

I thought about frying it, but not sure how that would work with the huge water content.

Anyone know recipes for a good turkey salad I could make with this?

Thanks

why not make lasagna and scile the turkey in the layers. or make a chili and chop it up 4|1|I would make a turkey salad, with crasins and chopped toasted walnuts. You can add some chopped celery, or apple too.|dlpavitt|dlpavitt@att.net|05:04:04|03/30/2014|

Saute the turkey with some taco seasoning and onions. Put in toasted crunchy shells with cheese, salsa, guac, whatever you like! That would TOTALLY cover the taste of the meat, for sure! 6|1|turkey manhatens |mepeaches3|rgh1967@sbcglobal.net|16:43:43|03/31/2014|
