I've been on the board along time and only did Angel auctions for others on the board or added to the ones I could.
My Mom just turned 80 (Wahooo) and had several major strokes along with minor ones. She has worked all of her life. Learned good values from her. Never asked anyone for help. Finally retired at 74 1/2 because her children kept telling her to enjoy life a little. She had her first stroke at 76 and recovered after therapy. She is still going to therapy and working hard to get out of the wheelchair. We all help her but the bills from the strokes keep adding up. We had to build a ramp into her home this last time because she cant do steps. She is strong and fiesty but struggling finacially to keep up. She does not qualify for any help (believe me we tried everything) as she has insurance (which we pay for) and makes a whopping $50 a month over the limit !!! Without the insurance the bills would be a lot more. She is in need of medical supplies that I found cheaper online, got her a few as I have been selling stuff. The rehab tried to sell us some stuff. Luckily I researched it and found out it was 1/3 of the price online and in Rite Aid (they have a nice area with goodies).
I started an Angel auction for her to try to raise a few $$ to help with bills, medical supplies and groceries. If you can kindly take a look I would appreciate it. LMK if there is anything you can use and I'll add it in. Have some nice stockpiles to add.
