I need chapter books that have themes for an 8 or 9 year old even though he reads on a 5th grade level.<P>The books can be gently used...please no pages missing or extremely dirty.  Also, due to his allergies, they need to come from a smoke free home.  Please let me know what you might have. Our boys are only in 1st grade but reading at the 4th grade level... however, I don't always like the topics in the 4th grade books.  I have an Encyclopedia Brown, four of the Bailey School kids #1,4, 8 and one without a number (?), Magic School Bus science chapter book #15 (Voyage to the Volcano), Fudge-a-mania (Judy Blume, we didn't read this one though, not sure of content) etc.  If you are interested, please email me and I can send a picture of the books (all paperback, smoke free home).<P>Shel<BR>couponshel@comcast.net
