I read this on the internet - bring in your charged-up solar lights and keep them in the windowsill in case your power goes off - you will have good light as nighttime falls. I would think that you could put them in a vase or tall glass and set them on a table. They have some cheap ones at WalMart for about $1.00.

it did work not to bright but enough light to walk around house

power is on now and electric but neighbors still not
