your land line phone service? AT&T contacted me & said I would have to switch everything
over to uverse as they would no longer support the DSL & land line service that i have now.
I googled uverse & read some terrible things about their installation & customer service. I
would like to hear from someone who has had experience with uaverse. I have no idea who I would get
my internet service from as AT&T is the only service I have ever had.I have the same land service for years.
I don't know what to switch to. My daughter dropped her land line & just has her cell phone. I don't like to talk on my cell phone because it's so hard to hold since it's so small. I hope to hear from anyone who can give me some suggestions.
I am 78 yeas old & changes don't come easy.TIA

my biggest complaint would be that they did not leave me a battery back up for the phone and twice we have been without power and no phone. I keep meaning to call to see if I can still get it. The other things is they told me different amounts as far as fees to have it put in, in the end though I did not have to pay anything for installation or the modem, because they had records of me being told different amounts. Internet and phone work great so far.

We had AT&T internet for years and our internet went out. They said it was our box that was messed up so we bought a new box from for 100.00. We set it up and it still didn't work. So, they had someone come out to our house to set it up with another charge of 149.00. It still didn't work.

We switch to Comcast and it worked for us. We found out later that AT&T put new lines on our block and they messed with our lines. So, I called them back to return my box and try to get a refund on the guy that came to our house. They said I was out of luck and I was stuck with the box and the fee. They still insist it was my box and my wires in the house even though he changed everything.

They do not care about their customers. I'm going to fight it with my credit card company, I just have to prove of the switching of the lines outside. 3|1|I've had U-verse for 3 years.|bluh2oeyes|bluh2oeyes@yahoo.com|06:19:14|01/23/2014|

Install was fine but then again I supervised every minute. I'm sure the installer hated me for it but I wanted everything put exactly where I wanted it.

I have home phone, internet and TV. What I don't like is every year on your "anniversary" or just weeks before you have to "haggle" to get the same rate as you have now....if not they are gonna charge you the "current" rate which is a lot more. Otherwise I've been satisfied for the last 3 years with the service.

If you are going to do it and use someone as a referral...both the referrer and you usually get either an extra rebate or amount off a bill for the referral. (so if you need a referral...let me know.)

Please do not forget I like to know your Real and Refund Sweeper name when you email me.
