I mailed some trades & stuff out BEFORE Christmas & some recipients are saying that they STILL haven't got their end?
USPS are getting much worse & have the audacity to increase their prices. Also WHY does the onus always seem to be on the 'sender'?
When mail etc goes missing the sender is the one expected to make up for USPS sloppiness! There's NO happy medium :(

it is hard for workers from ups to deliver on time but too many packages from business and home too.

post marked 8 days after she mailed it. I received it 2 weeks after she dropped it in the post office.The mail seems to be moving very slow.Hopefully your trades will reach your traders soon. 3|2|Andrea, she said USPS (post office) not UPS ... When it piles up like that I am sure some is lost & never heard from again. 1 thing for
sure, no one is going to take the blame. the po you mailed it from says it left there & the
po you are mailing to says they never received it.I had a bad experience with a letter that i
mailed to my son with VERY important papers, paid to have it overnighted. He never received it &
they couldn't track it. 2 years later it was returned to me as undeliverable. It had been every where.
The last postmark was north dakota. My sons address was clear & easy to read. So I don't know why it was never
delivered to him. And ofcoures, the po had no idea.

On Friday I received my Jan. bill for new insurance. The letter was dated 12/26/13. If I had not called the new insurance company during the week I never would have made payment by Fri 1/10/2014. They allowed me to make a one time payment by phone with no charge. Now I am going to set them up online as a payee with my checking account. I do not trust this mail system at all and soon we will be paying more. I try to pay as many bills online as possible to save on checks and postage. I ordered a book from Amazon on Dec 19 and still have not received it. I contacted the seller and it sounds like they did not do delivery confirmation so that have no idea where it is. With the holidays/weather delays/airport cancellations, etc., my mail/trades have been taking much longer to get here, which is to be expected. One trade took 18 days. In the past, I've had trades that took 2-4 weeks to get here. A few never make it here unfortunately. I've had a few arrive damaged in plastic baggies, usually because of thin envelopes, so need to tape it to death! Hubby pays all our bills online for this reason too. Seems every time they raise the rates, the service continues to get worse. I remember many years ago, I sent a payment by certified mail with insurance. It never made it to it's destination. They guarantee refund if it isn't delivered. When I went to the p.o. to complain, they looked it up and had no idea what happened to it. I asked for refund, she refused, then asked for supervisor, said sorry, nothing we can do about it! This is getting ridiculous. Some of my trades are taking much longer to get here. I've had few traders ask me where their end is as well, even though I always mail out same/next day. I don't see any improvement with the p.o. in the future unfortunately as they continue to raise their rates.
