Every year I start with a new bank ledger. When I put the new ledger in the check book cover it seemed to feel lighter. Guess what- I counted the pages in the old one and new one and you got it- the new one is one page short. Anyone have the same deal? Didn't have enough pages last year so I guess I will be filling in with my own paper sooner than Dec. What's next?? 1|1|Why does that happen to everything? And what was gained by the makers of them? Usually they're free with new checks so it wouldn't be a gain there. Plus the # of checks in a book has definitely gone down too lately.|SandyC|sacoates1@msn.com|11:21:33|01/05/2014|
And checks have gotten more expensive too! (It depends where you get them from.) Less for more.

2|1|I'm waiting for it to affect the number of stamps in a book......|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|12:00:35|01/05/2014|
W/the quantity & size of everything else shrinking, I wouldn't be surprised if a "book" of stamps goes from 20 count down to 18-19 count. :( Some "books" are already only 16 count, depending on the design. Of course, the price is cheaper on a 16-count book, but w/another postage increase coming Jan. 26th, who knows what's next.......
