Do you keep busy?
And what do you do?

:D

volunteer, volunteer, volunteer.... I know people who do this and seem very satisfied with there retirements. There are so many things I would like to do now, but work tires me out enough that it makes it hard. The more you volunteer the more connections you have with people.

I did stop working outside of the home many years ago. Since then, I've become disabled and can't do my job as well I used to be able to do. My job being taking care of my home and family. It pains me very much that my illnesses keep me from all I want to do for them. I wish I had never complained about doing the dishes, wish I could stand there and do them easily today.

I do keep busy by reading a lot, I love scripture and ancient history as well. I also read research studies that pertain to my health conditions so that I can be informed. My hobby is sweepstaking, I love it! We don't have a TV, haven't for many years, so I have much more time to enter sweepstakes and to read too. A few hours of entering sweeps pays off more than the TV ever did. :) So that is how I spend my time. On a good day I can get some things done around the house as long as they are light work but those days don't happen much anymore. On most days I don't have enough energy to do much else but shower and go rest in bed, gives me lots of time to read my bible so I'm ok with it. :) 3|2|well what i do to keep busy is|karrkamper|jdouglas4@mchsi.com|17:28:17|11/23/2013|
