so thankful to still have our home, the damage here is just within a half mile to a mile from our house. Our old church here was full of people, thanking God he watched over them, looks like the side of the building, the large shed was destroyed, and cars damaged. They have the area quarantined so you can not see how bad the damage is.
The town of Washington was hit so bad. This is such wide spread damage through the state. Praying for all the families and towns that have been affected.

farms had damage. One has major damage to back barn..roof peeled off literally. Another has brand new irrigation systems that he put in are flipped and twisted like pretzels. That was just the damage I seen driving close to home here. they have had the roads blocked off and are only letting in those who need to be there..have to go around to get out of town. It was busy at work we sent eighty pizzas in yesterday to help feed relief crews. School was closed but resumes today our bus lot was hit and damaged all but five buses.

spent the night and went right to church from there, was on my way home from Wheaton when the storms were coming through. Never was really scared of storms, thanks to my dad, growing up in the trailor park when a tornado warning was coming in and everyone else was going to the shelter, he would say, time to go to bed, lol. Now though since my friend lost her house a couple years ago, and this one being so close I am finding myself to have bit more caution but God is so good to walk beside us right when we need Him to and when we think we don't.

it is so bad but there are so many volunteers here helping, and they say so many supplies have come in. We have several small towns and villages right here together that are close knit, and helping. I had a lady from out of state call work yesterday and order a lot of food for someone who's house had been hit, she could not get ahold of them though, so was just sending it out blindly and said if they are not there just pass it out to whoever needs it. Nice to see so many acts of kindness when people need it.
Praying for the town of Washington, that was hit so much worse, for those who lost family and were hurt, and those who do not have insurance and the means to be ok after this.

she recently repainted inside so most of her cleaning was done. I was surprised that she did all that painting.
