If it is their property?? Can you talk to the septic tank place and see if they will work out a payment plan with you?? If the first septic tank place will not work with you, is there another place near you?? There has to be someone near you that can guide you in the right direction. I would start making phone calls until I found the right person.

And WHY does the septic tank need to be replaced??? Or can it just be emptied out??? 5|4|im trying i will keep u posted (m)|gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|12:49:31|10/24/2013|

Before I swithched to public sewer, Only because I wanted an exra bedroom. On septic, you have to be careful what you put into it, no tampons, no wipes, and if possible no grease. Also I was required to have ut pumped every 5 years. Did not need it. If you had not done so, try pumping it first. There is the tank. which should be ok after you pump it. Anf then there are the fields where the waste water goes. The lines to the fields could be clogged, or collasped, if installed improperly.

Anyway after the pumping, whatever the problem, should be the owners since he cannot rent it to anyone until fixed. 8|1|Perhapss a friend, church member, etc knows something about septics and can help either with info or labor?|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|17:21:16|10/24/2013|

we just had a new septic system installed last yr and I live right beside a main hwy...was told by state inspector that if he

had been us..he would have done it himself and not spent out all that money...

but on the other hand....if u check out the licensed guys on the health dept list and call around and tell them u called

the others ...someone will shoot u a better price...we bought the tank..the guy dug the hole..and he purchased everything else...and my husband helped him install it......it ended up costing only $2500 plus the price of the tank..which I think was 699.00

I know the total even at the rate we paid is a lot if u don't have it... : (

put a box of Rid-X in your toilet and flush it a couple of times to make sure it all goes down the toilet into your tank. Do this last thing at night so there is no one flushing during the night is best so it can work in your tank overnight. My mom used to just use regular pkgs of yeast but it was just her living alone and not much company over. With the expception of just a few years I have lived in the county all my life and this even has 'saved' so far my own septic system here as I have zero monies to purchase a new one as well. I was having issues with my leach bed (where the water drains out of the cistern/tank out into the yard. Also we do not put toilet paper down the toilet unless you poop and only use what is necessary. I have a small bathroom waste paper basket with lid and keep it emptied daily so there is no smell.
My daughter who is epileptic has a 'issue' with not feeling 'dry' so she will use a lot..and I mean a lot!..of TP which probably started this whole issue for us. (It's part of her mental thing..not a habit..can't break her of it etc) I had the septic pumped and you would not believe how thick the layer of TP in there was! Soo..no more TP in toilet and I switched TP brands as well. Ones like Charmin and Northern..while they are soft and thicker..also are a lot harder to break down in the septic. Use Angel Soft..septic safe...and although thinner breaks down MUCH easier in the septic tank. 11|1|for now (M)|gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|07:06:31|10/25/2013|

ok for now we got down to the top with the help of a sump pump found the lid pumped the tank....its filled back up kinda ..but not all the way...we rehooked the pipes...it was after 9pm...the toliet still did the same thing slow slow slow drain ...so out came the toliet...what a mess...it was pouring the rain...we didnt have any real tools to check it with we used a coat hanger and me and dh keept prayign it out and flushing it it still wasnt flusing right i told him somthing was in there lol he went up thur the bottom like 6 times nothing u would want to see eww..the top same thing..then were heard something clink...then he keep working it and out came....a SPOON...yep freaking spoon...the other toliet is still not flushing..have to work on that today..and the septic tank guy said something was definitely wrong with the tank he wouldnt be stepping around in the yard too much i dont know know if he mean till it dried up or what ...the dept of mines and mineral has out property flagged for repair for water run off i was thinking the septic got full from that?? if it fills back up fast im gonna call them and see if i can fast track something it wont hurt.... i called a year or so ago when house started to moild they said their was nothing they could do but surely iof the septic is filling this fast they would have to do something its making the house unliveable ..we didnt get into the bed till after 1am thank you for the prayers and support we were out 550.00 for the septic fee and new pipes and the sump pump we had to borrow half that the rest was our savings...:( its sucks....and lol for whoever asked about living in the country we sure do but we have neighbors and they are family and they are not close family they would rat u our in a spilt second...so we cant do anything without a permit or anyhting that isnt by the book ...

up pretty fast. that is normal. Because the lines that takes it to the septic field are near the top. If you have a run off problem, the fields could not accept any more water. But that would influence your entire house not just the toilets. Something is stuck in the toilet. 16|6|i know it stays almost full (M)|gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|22:37:27|10/25/2013|

country too. The water wasn't flushing down in the toilet
fast and was told to have it pumped. When the guy came down
he put a pole down the little cap on the top of the septic
tank. There was only about 3 feet of sledge he said, and
didn't think that was the problem. But since he was there
he pumped it anyway. (just to be sure) He said that when
you flush, the water would fill to the leechfield drainage
pipe and drain out. The sludge would stay at the bottom. We
continued to have the same problem. DH decided to dig down
to the leechfield pipe and follow it to the leechfield. He
folowed it about 4 feet and found a whole in the pipe. The
dirt had falling in and it was almost full. The pipe had
been there since the 50's. He cleaned out what he could and
put a piece of metal over it (temporary) to see if that was
what the problem was and sure enough, no more problem. So he
dug the whole trench and replaced the pipe. DK even took apart
the pipes that were mickey moused to the septic tank. (that was
funny.)but hubby didn't think so.
The old guy that had own and built the house in the 50's was
an old timer. You wouldn't believe how he had micky moused
things. He had the pipe in backwards under the house to the
septic system. We had found that out when the septic guy was
trying to find the problem but he said that he thought it was
"ok" for now. lol. When the guy built the house he had dog food
bags thumb tacked to the walls for insulation.
Like Anne was saying try a snake. It has to be something either
stuck in the drain pipe or a problem in your leechfield drainage.
Praying that you find out what the problem is soon and that it can
be fixed. 18|8|thanks me too :) |gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|10:32:25|10/27/2013|
