Went to Walmart, had 12 coupons and 5 were computer coupons. The cashier said "new Walmart policy is" if the first scan on the computer coupon doesn't work we are no longer going to use the "gun" to scan it. So I said, just leave all my groceries here and if they do not scan I will take them out. Well I got the "stink eye", she didn't like that I said to take them back. All the coupons did scan! that happened to me a few months ago these were from cpns.com and they were especially for walmart but since they didn't scan they weren't taken. had to call the CSM but he said she could enter it manually. She has to have approval to enter them or can be written up she said.
The cashier said that this is a new policy and it is a pain in the neck for them since they have to keep calling the CSM to use his key. Coupons that are absolutely okay are not always scanning like they should. She said that some coupons are even coming up as expired and they aren't. She said their system is messed up.
