I cannot see the grains of the muscle. That goes for frozen food and deli. In fact I use very little deli. The sodium nitrite used is not good for you. If I can't see the grains of the muscle, than it's not meat. Heaven knows what chemicals they put into it. I also avoid canned meat. First, they taste terrible. Second the PB-whatever in the can is cancerous.

All processed foods today are "denatured" devoid of important nutrients/minerals our bodies need, reason why we have so many chronic diseases/cancer/premature deaths. We need "nutrient dense" foods. I don't want to say the name of it but he said that had a roast beef sandwich, similar to what you would get at Arby's. He said they would get a huge plastic bag of gelatinous (sp) goo and they would "bake" it until it was solid, then open up the plastic and put the hunk of "meat" on a slicer and slice it off for sandwiches and call it roast beef. OMG - ever since he told me that I have never eaten a roast beef sandwich anywhere in a fast food place.
