I would prefer to see too much tape instead of none or not enough. I am lucky that my son-in-law supplies me with all of my wide, packing tape and use it, I do. I cannot believe some of the envelopes that I receive that just barely held up long enough to get here - no tape on them and a flimsy envelope to boot.

THE REASON FOR YOUR POST :O)
I MADE A TRADE AWHILE BACK FOR SOME V8 JUICE COUPONS (ENOUGH THAT IT TOOK 2 STAMPS TO MAIL)
THE COUPONS WERE PUT IN A CARD ENVELOPE WITHOUT ANY TAPE (NONE) AND WHAT I RECEIVED WAS A ENVELOPE
ADDRESSED TO ME (ALL TORE UP) AND A PAGE FROM A MAGAZINE RIPPED IN HALF IN A BODY BAG FROM THE PO.
NO COUPONS WERE IN THE BODY BAG.
IM SORRY BUT MY VOTE WOULD BE FOR TAPE!!! :O)

I use shipping tape and prefer a well secured envelope.
It is no fun to have to replace a trade or refund money because of a trader receiving a ripped envelope without contents.
It also is no fun to have to tell a trader that the envelope they sent you arrived in a body bag from the Post Office.
BTW - FYI - Those who use cheap envelopes, please tape the bottom crease of the envelopes. I receive a lot of trades where this crease is tearing open.

I tape anything with any width to it...because the other person ends up with a PO bodybag that assures them that the PO cared about the coupons...they aren't going to get now.
