I took everything they needed. Because my bank statement shows paypal deposits I have to fax them my paypal history from the beginning of the year. Bill has to have a paper filled out from his work which he is a shuttle driver for ford and they are shut down for two weeks. So I have to mail that to them and of course that will probably hold us up a couple of weeks. So by the time everything is done and if we get approved it will still be close to another 30 days. i have never heard of them backing up so far uaually its just a few months of bank statements not a whole years worht good grief did u ask her what the heck did they have an emergency program for if it takes a month to process and you would starve to death by the time it was processed grrr it makes me so mad...ppl here can go in and with in a week get food stamps heck even ppl from mexico that arent supposed to be here can get benefits faster than a month this whole government system is screwed up as all get out i would call them everyday and ask them what is going on aggravate them maybe they will move faster...also are u in a location at your house to have a yardsale? maybe that could help you out im sorry you are having a hard time..we just filed bankruptcy ourselves and they are trying to take the only car we have!! saying that even after we filed we cant pay for it and we only owe a little over a 2,000 on it so we have to go back through court for that the lawyer said they wouldnt take it but its still red tape and worry and more stress its crazy we are on a fixed income we are behind on the garbage and mortgage which we will have to make up once the bankruptcy clears or we will be back in collections again !!! we have to make payments on it to make it up and with christmas coming its going to be awful my son joined the cub scouts thur a scholarship program and he is so excited but now we cant afford to get his uniform... im not in a situation as bad as yours but i do understand hardship i cant help by sending you money but i am certainly sending u prayers and hugs from across the miles hang in there things will get better it will just take time and a lot prayers

I no it will getting better just hoping it does before it gets alot worse. I am so tired and stressed out, not knowing how I am to pay this or that and I thought at least the food stamps would help and I wouldn't have to worry about food. I don't do good on garage sales in my area that is why I sell most of it on here. I have sold one or two gift baskets that way. Just throw some stuff in a spare basket and make it look pretty ... use a pack of Dollar Tree shrink wrap. Ask for $15 to $25 depending on the stuff and you have money to buy groceries for one night. for the trucking company. They are off for the two weeks also. We either have to wait until they go back to work or mail it to them and wait for them to mail it or fax it to the welfare department. If we wait who knows if the dispatchers or whatever their title is are allowed to fill it out and if we mail it who knows if they will get it filled out and sent right back. for my area a few things but then again you have to be selling something someone wants. All we can do it take it one day at a time. Make are food last and pay what we can on the bills. I am just afaid to get so behind in the house payment that we will never get it caught up. that when they do that here they still pay the workers ( not sure if it is full pay or not) does the shuttle company do the same? Like that is their vacation? You have to have very little money coming in or expected to come in to qualify. So if you are working and have steady income now then you probably won't get the emergency ones. Expedited benefits mean that you may receive benefits within seven days. We suggest you go in person to your local DTA office to apply.
To be eligible for expedited benefits, you must meet one of these three criteria:

Monthly income is less than $150, and money in the bank is less than $100
The applicant is a migrant worker, and money in the bank is less than $100
