I have been holding these auctions for the last several years and am ready
To start this years first Christmas kid auction. For those that don't know about the auction or don't really know the details. Here goes. I hold the auction and you can add to the auction by adding things that you can send to the winner to help raise money. The money raised on this auction will be for buying gifts and shipping for family and friends of refund sweepers kids ages 2-16. We have to put a age range in just because we usually have so many kids. Anything you can think of can be added to the auction. Coupons, gift cards, special items you make, anything you have to offer will help. Just please remember you are responsible for the shipping of the items to the winner within 5 days of auction winning or payment received. For bidders, please know that your offer/bid will be helping the kids. I know that we all want a good deal, but also be fair and perhaps bid a little more for a good cause. I know that info my auctions a little bit different. I figure out the value and start out with a specific bid. But I'm always fair. I don't expect to post a $50 item and expect $50. But I start out $40. Just because I know the true cost and want to get the most we can. I know how expensive all of this is. So hopefully we can do these auctions and all of us help out one another. I know it's a tough time for all of us. Maybe we can help each other, have some fun, and feel better by knowing we can help someone else out. If you have lots of this and that laying around, fill up a flat rate box of goodies and donate to the auction. If your not sure of a value or have a general question, just mail me or post to the board. These auctions are one way to be an "angel" and help out. But we have other ways of helping out too. You can be a Christmas angel by adopting one of the kids and buying and shipping directly to them. I will send you all of their information, name, age, size, likes, address, etc. and you will buy and ship to them directly. All gifts must be shipped by December 10th. Christmas kid parents the gifts are to help out. Not to cover Christmas completely. So do not just depend on this or your gifts for the kids. I will post Christmas kid applications within the next few weeks. We also have angels that give monetary donations that help out with buying and shipping the gifts. Whatever way you help it is appreciated.
I do not give out or post names of those being helped. I know it's hard to ask for help and sometimes people don't want all that known. We will try to help as many active/current members as we can. We cannot start helping people that just now join the board. I think this covers most of the info. I'm sure I've forgotten sone things. But we"ll consider this a start. Any questions, just ask.
Also, as I get emails, reminders to, I will add to this post. Like now. You just be an active, current member on our board. We can not help those that just "viisit" once or twice a year. We all know our members on the board. And if you truly don't need help. Please don't ask. We have a lot of people that truly need the help ,

It is usually those who are in a tough situation, or have been, who care a great deal. lot of people want/need help..but not many can/will help.
I put so much into these myself and just can't keep doing it. : (
so it is what it is. I will finish this one auction and go from there.

They've worked out well in the past this way, and when I'm paying the postage I think the more I can ship at one time is more economical.
Maybe I'm wrong.
But, I'm trying. That's all I can do. : )
