my daughter who lives in NJ (and I'm originally from NJ) just texted me as I came home from dinner celebrating hubby's birthday to find out this awful news. She said at least 24 businesses are burnt to the ground ongoing since 2:30 this afternoon. It has been SO dry here w/no rain for almost a month now, yet some idiots still burn in their so-called fire pits, even on a hot 80° evening. Too many stupid & reckless people out there. :(
