3. Name how many weeks I have to go before the cast is removed.

First of all, Nikki, I am so excited that she is finally getting to do what she has wanted to do. Good for her!!!
Now, about this ankle. Back a year ago, a 3 year old actually kicked me hard enough to give me a blunt force break on the inside of my ankle. They put me in a boot for 6 weeks and it got better - for awhile. Started having some problems but not enough for me to go to the doctor. Plus, I had to have knuckle replacement on my left thumb the day after Christmas so I really didn't want two appendages in casts/wraps at the same time. Then, on my last day of work as the day care director (3/27/13), I fell out of the van b/c my ankle gave way. Turned the outside very badly. I walked/limped around until late June when my husband said, "GO NOW. TO THE DOCTOR." Thus, he put me back in a boot. Well, one day, I wanted to weed eat my back yard but didn't want to get my boot dirty so I took it off. Big mistake....I stepped into a hole and twisted the OTHER side of my ankle. So back to the boot I go. Several weeks went by and neither side was getting better. So...the doctor said, "Four weeks in a cast. If that doesn't work we will have to be looking at surgery...." Tomorrow makes two weeks. Two weeks to go. Hoping and praying it is healing!!!
