My FIL wants me to ship him a very large, very heavy painting from MI to FL. It is about 4 feet by 3 feet, on a big canvas, with a wood frame, weighs a ton (ok, exaggerating a bit, but heavy and awkward). Anybody know a place I can take it to that will package it up securely and ship it for me? Oh, and he also says it is worth a lot of money, so needs to be insured. It's also extremely ugly, so more than happy to get rid of it, but does he have to make me pay to ship it to him!!
I have no idea what to do with this thing, it's hard enough to handle and I can't even begin to think of packing it and taking it to be shipped.
