I had 2 big honking pine trees in my front yard when I moved here & I didn't care for them at all. Got rid of those a couple yrs. ago & altho the full sun in front is awesome in winter, it's a killer in summer. Found a Red Maple for $10 a few days ago so I'm tickled pink to have gotten it planted in front yesterday. It's going to be a really beautiful tree once it gets going (see pic below). My goal is to eventually have pink or lavendar Lilac bushes on both sides of it. I can't wait!
