It just changed over from Sears 2 yrs ago. When you have a Wal-Mart right across the street from it, you can't win. So far only 10% off & there's people lining up early in the morning. That's not much.

but has gone steadily down hill while their prices have steadily raised. I never frequent my Kmart....because it's about 25 miles away, filthy, expensive and basically crowded with people who don't speak English. I feel bad because I have such fond memories of shopping there with my mom when I was a kid, because she loved going there, but I refuse to show in such an environment. 4|2|Several have gone out of business here in the last few years.|bluh2oeyes|bluh2oeyes@yahoo.com|14:10:50|07/06/2013|

WM and Target have put them out of business here in NC where I live now.

Ah, gone are the "good old days" I remember when I was a kid growing up in the burbs of Chicago, my mother and I would ride our bikes to the Library and then just down the street to Kmart. We would get a grilled cheese and an icee at their "lunch counter". We would then do our shopping and ride our bikes back home. Kmart used to be cool in the 70's and 80's before Walmart and Target took over.

Kmart was always so much better than Walmart, sad to see they are closing some stores. 10|1|walmart always wins ugh|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|14:23:17|07/09/2013|

So many small towns are left with just walmart after they ran the small guys out of town, so sad. 11|1|I don't shop at Walmart, probably the only person on the planet who doesn't. Now they have ads to get people to|lv2qpon|jcummins1@rochester.rr.com|15:59:28|07/10/2013|

buy steaks and produce. Will grocery stores be the next casualties to go? I saw that T.V. special on Walmart and how they treat their employees. Today everything is made in China which has taken jobs away from people in the USA. 12|2|I avoided walmart for years|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|19:15:25|07/10/2013|

I started going for coupon overage deals but haven't done that much lately at all. It is my very last choice, can't stand the place. What is sad is that the people in small towns are ruining their own local economies by shopping there. Soon enough, everyone in town has to work and shop there. So much for mom and pop, goodbye culture, service and quality. 13|1|I also actively avoid Walmart. I do not like there politics, and policies.|dlpavitt|dlpavitt@att.net|07:40:45|07/12/2013|
